I am a senior economist at the Oslo-based consultancy Samfunnsøkonomisk analyse.

I graduated with a PhD from the University of Oslo in December 2022, with my dissertation “Essays on Market Power and Pricing Strategies“.

I have used my analytical and academic background to analyze large data sets, utilize advanced statistical methods, and visualize data in an accessible format. Throughout my career, I have focused on evaluating public policy, for example changes in the so-called Norwegian sugar taxes, and the Norwegian Competitions Authority’s merger decisions.

Through my work with the Norwegian Competition Appeals Tribunal, I have gained interdisciplinary skills, after having worked closely with lawyers and law scholars. My experience with the tribunal work, teaching undergraduate students, and public speaking performances, has resulted in extensive experience with explaining complex economic insights to recipients outside my field.
