I am an tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam since September 2022. I conduct research in the intersection between Industrial Organization and adjacent sub-fields such as International Economics and Public Economics.
I graduated with a PhD from the University of Oslo in December 2022, with my dissertation “Essays on Market Power and Pricing Strategies”
My research agenda focuses on economics outcomes in retail markets. How does consumer heterogeneity affect firm behavior, and ultimately the effect of consumption taxes? How does competition, or lack thereof, affects consumer welfare and firm’s investments? And how does the investment in automation technology in retail affect worker productivity?
